We also have HE appliances but the dryer balls really do work great, they reduce ironing time too.Maurisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06489369133555827520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736912982726404421.post-3635015479624049362013-08-26T14:46:46.264-04:002013-08-26T14:46:46.264-04:00do you just add the vinegar/oil combo to the washe...do you just add the vinegar/oil combo to the washer's fabric softener compartment?

I'll have to check out the wool dryer balls. although our drying time isn't too bad because of the HE washer and we have a clothes line for larger items. I grate 1 bar of Fels Naptha soap and add 1 cup borax and 1 cup washing soda--Walmart has the best prices on the Fels Naptha. I can get the other ingredients at the commissary. It does a great job. I use white vinegar with a few drops of essential oil in lieu of fabric softener and that does get the stink out of Wingnut's workout clothes. We also just started using wool dryer balls I made myself and have cut the drying time down by half.Maurisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06489369133555827520noreply@blogger.com
