8 hot dog buns and 10 wieners in a pack! Come on people. Let's get the amounts even already people! What do I have to do? Buy packs that equal a common amount? 5 packs of buns and 4 packs of wieners so I have 40 of each. Is this some conspiracy to make me buy more?
Other business don't do this. Socks don't come in 3's to go along with a pair of shoes. Altough - the way we lose socks around here that might not be a bad thing.

Yes! We want an explanation. We need an explanation! Why, why, why!
With as many kids as you've got, you might as well buy enough to even it out ;-)
I have also bought hot dogs in 8 count packs...only to find buns in packs of 12...ugh. You CAN buy 8 & 8, but it is usually more expensive...luckily, my kids like bunless dogs!
it doesn't really affect us cause we have kids that don't like buns so we don't have to have them match up number-wise. But like Maurisa, I just want to know WHY?
Have You ever seen Father of the Bride with Steve Martin? The stress of planning the wedding finally gets to him and he freaks out in the grocery store over the hot dog buns and gets arrested.
