That's funny cause Saunier Duval, and Caisse d'Epargne (bank) are French companies. We so much want to win something on sport that we find Champions wherever we can, just to win a medal, a cup, or whatever in gold!
I've also heard "The player from Lyon : Kim Kallström" during Euro 2008 of football(soccer for you). This player was in his Sweedish team, playing under its colors, and the only way to win celebrity was to comment saying that he was usually playing at Lyon! Can you imagine that! French journalists and even sport selectors are ready to adopt whoever is ready to come with a respectable list of awards. I feel sometimes like Japaneses.
